Diane was an active member of Salsa Speakers (Burnaby) from 2017-2025. She will be missed and remembered for her kindness and helping nature.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
So, he put his arms around you and whispered, "come to me". 
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. 
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. 
A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest. 
God broke our hearts to prove to us:

Ralph was a member of Burrard Toastmasters for 12 years. 

He was a passionate, dedicated, and loyal member who served as Sergeant-at-Arms for many years. Ralph loved Table Topics, being the Grammarian, and participating in debates. He played a pivotal role in uncovering the club's history by reaching out to former members. 

Before joining Toastmasters, Ralph was a teacher for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching TV and movies, volunteering, and investing. Many of Burrard's traditions can be attributed to Ralph. 

We will miss him greatly.

Kevin was an avid member of the our community developing his public speaking and leadership skills. He was a member of multiple clubs and regional positions developing the clubs and building membership. These were more than clubs as the members are some of his close friends.

Kevin’s friends and family identified him as “Panglossian - characterized by or given to extreme optimism, especially in the face of unrelieved hardship or adversity”. Through this battle with cancer he never let go of enjoying each day to the fullest.
