It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Past International Director, Dawn Miller. Dawn, an entrepreneur, coach, speaker, and trainer, and a Toastmaster for more than 45 years, she originally joined to gain confidence in building and promoting her business. She became a very dedicated Toastmaster serving in several leadership positions in District 21 and eventually serving as International Director from 1993-1995. She continued to serve her District as trainer, Area Director and working in the Pathways program to add to her skills and understanding. Dawn received awards for excellence in communication, leadership and mentoring from community, business, and Toastmasters International. She strongly believed that by creating a life you love you will enjoy life more, enrich the lives of those around you and make a positive impact in the greater world.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, and grandsons. We truly appreciate her contributions and commitment to Toastmasters and send our sincere condolences to her family.
